Sam Linkous has been involved in Scouting since Fall of 2008 and is currently working on achieving the rank of Eagle Scout with Troop 417.  During his time as a Scout, Sam developed many outdoor and life skills through his many adventures. Through camp outings, day hikes, and backcountry backpacking, Sam deepened his love of nature.  Appalachian Trail, West Coast, Southeast, and New Mexico are some of the areas Sam has hiked 1000 miles plus.  Sam decided to share his love of the outdoors through his Eagle Project.
