The City of Gulf Breeze Parks and Recreation

WELCOME

Parks and Recreation has been offering state of the art, award winning services since 1961. Nestled between the Gulf of Mexico and Pensacola Bay, Gulf Breeze Parks and Recreation has been able to reach citizens in a variety of ways, with the goal of providing the best possible experience for their recreation activities.

The City’s total land devoted to recreation is 517 acres. Shoreline Park is the major recreation area in Gulf Breeze. This park encompasses about 155 acres and is divided into two distinct parks. Shoreline Park North consists of the Gulf Breeze Community Center, Dolphin Island Splash Pad, Sunset Kids Park, 10 multi-purpose, lighted athletic fields supporting baseball, football, soccer and lacrosse, 10 lighted tennis courts, an 18 hole disc golf course, 2 sand volleyball courts, 2 outdoor basketball courts, a skatepark, a 1.2 mile paved exercise trail and an indoor multi-sport practice facility.

Pickleball Courts

Completion 2025

February 17, 2025: The Highpoint dual play courts and the half outdoor basketball court have been resurfaced and striped, and they will reopen today! The tennis and basketball courts at Shoreline Drive have been resurfaced, restriped, and repaired, and they are open for play. The posts for the fencing around the pickleball courts were set over the weekend and today they will start stretching the chain link fabric.
